I used to think I was cursed because for like years, any job I had that fired me would go out of business within months. This ended when I worked as a seasonal order picker for Amazon right when COVID started and got fired because I got sick. They didn’t go out of business, obviously, but my entire family was sweating for a good couple of months, afraid to hear some weird news.
