I feel the same about the ps5. I tried to hide it cutesy in our entertainment center and it worked for a bit but then eventually it started to overheat and get too much dust buildup so now it exists on the top and it’s big and obvious and bulky 😭😂

As someone with kids who has no choice but to hide consoles completely I cut the back out of the tv stand and threw a small usb fan in there for air flow so now it’s behind a closed drawer and can’t be seen at all, anything sealed will make it overheat and shut off randomly and eventually break it completely so keep air flow in min

You can add peel and stick vinyl to the outside, just make sure it’s not covering any sensors

you could use a box, with an external fan... or install cupboard doors to the front of your shelving unit (with an external fan for airflow and the doors open whenever you run it). essentially, you need airflow if youre going to hide it.
