I went to school in Spain when I was a kid. During summer, school finished at 1pm due to the heat. Everyday. All summer.

Early 10s we had unusual amounts of snow, we were off school in many places for a week one year. We had the same complaints then, if Scandinavian countries can do it, why can’t we? BECAUSE OUR INFRASTRUCTURE IS NOT DESIGNED TO COPE WITH WEATHER EXTREMES

Ours homes are literally built to trap heat inside without a ac that’s why at 4am when it’s cool outside it’s still 28 degrees inside our bedrooms I went Spain in 30 degrees weather and it was beautiful meanwhile 25 degrees in Britain is awfull
