I begged my boyfriend to hold my hand for 4 years!!! So yes, It’s deeper than not giving a hug! Turned out my ex felt power knowing I needed that affection so he refused, to control me. No worries… my new man does the job now!!! ❤️❤️

I’ve been where she is. My ex husband didn’t want to hug me, hold my hand, sit close to me, nothing. He was just so detached. I felt so alone, invisible. It’s been 3 years since my divorce was final and I can tell you - I don’t have someone in my home to give me hugs but I have my pets, and I have myself! There’s nothing worse than desiring love and affection from your partner and them withholding that affection from you. You are worth all the hugs in the world! Oh BOY, this hits hard. I can't count the years of my 30 year marriage where I experienced being treated this way. 2 years into this divorce, with him gone from the home, I no longer feel lonely. According to my Golden Retriever, I am worthy of all the love and attention💕.
