Congrats! I was rejected from a hospital RN diploma school in 1991. I was crushed. By 1998 I had my masters of nursing and passed my Family Nurse Practitioner board exams 😊 You got this!

I’m confused? Isnt a practical nursing program just a 1 year certificate vs the associate nursing which an associate degree and 2 years? Neither of which would qualify you as a nurse which requires a 4 year bachelor of science degree.

Hi there, idk you girly, but I can see the persistence. It’s gonna be the hardest time of your life, don’t give up, go cry and come back and hit the books. Stay up, don’t sleep, work hard and when you think you’re about to give up, work harder. You can do it. If you have small babies, just remember, you’ll make the time up to them, the jobs you get will change your lives and patients truly need good nurses to heal them back to health.. make a difference. ♥️Best of luck. Oh and also, when you hit clinicals, ignore the rude nurses that don’t care to teach, there are nurses like me that love to, stay focused. 👏

You did it! 🫶🏻 I was rejected 2x before I was accepted, and I’ve been a nurse now for 16 years (3 as an LVN, and 13 as an RN) I’m so proud of you for not giving up. It’s going to be hard sometimes, but it’s so worth it.

This is a better and cheaper route, trust me. I’m an RN now but I wish I’d taken my local community colleges LPN program and then got my RN. You’ll have a good job, making good money and getting hospital experience

im doing my lpn soon as well, got rejected 4 times because my points are not high enough to get in to nursing. gave up for 5 years. I have all classes done except core nursing classes which sucks. but they let me down to many times you get broken.

You're going to have to work your butt off to stay in that program! Nursing is rigorous but doable. Put your nose to the grindstone and never never never miss a deadline

Happened to me too! I was so bummed about not getting into the RN program but thankfully my mom pushed me to still apply for the LPN program and was accepted! I start in August, we got this!!
