I never understood this thing about blaming the person your partner has an affair with! if that person is a friend if yours I get some angry at their betrayal as well. but it should be far less than the anger at the person cheating. and if its a random how is it their fault at all!

Also this looks to be a festival of some kind, its proper etiquette to make sure a person makes it safely to their feet, gender and realtionship be damned. So the dude isn't in the wrong, his partner is.
