You are spot on. Been with my husband since high school, 22 years. We have been through some doozies. Life is hard, marriage is hard, putting someone else above yourself is HARD. But man, the closeness that comes when you walk through hard things together is unmatched. When I think back to some of the things we’ve been through together that would have broken up many couples, it just makes me love him more.

im russian too, divorce was never an option. till the stress got so bad from metal abuse. ended up in the hospital. 15yrs.. ill celebrate my effort. cant control the other person. ❤️Happy and single now ❤️

Respectfully - this is not always true. Sometimes divorce is the only way out. Sometimes, Compromises can only go so far. Sometimes people just need to go separate ways and that’s ok. Not everything always need to be saved. Extremely individual subject.
