I identified with every single thing you said. From 90 days in rehab (I wish I could go back to the first day and leave! I hated every second of it) to cleaning before people come over. I always thought it was the right thing to do bc who wants to visit when you have a messy dining room table, no place to sit and kitchen counters overflowing with stuff, etc? It’s embarrassing! 😂 I hope your palliative care is wonderful. You deserve it ❤️🤩

I did a mental health walk in looking for therapy. the intake therapist said I didn't fit the criteria for it because I was stable. I was low income, no benefits and couldn't just pay for a therapist out of pocket. i was really hoping on the provincial HC to kick in...I turned around and went to my psychiatrist a bit later and her referred me instead. He knows I mask. He also knows that I am very educated in my disorders and have a good vocabulary. To a stranger I didn't look like I needed help. I knew I did and felt like I was drowning. Masking is my superpower and my downfall.
