@bioncasmith3: Thank you all so much for being patient with this update as it’s very difficult to share. 💔 Yesterday, I wasn’t ready to talk about Blue Belle’s state and I made this clear but it was so hard not to have the hugs 🫂 I needed so badly. I wish I had hugs instead of laying here alone in a puddle of tears. First, I want to thank everyone for their prayers and donations towards Blue Belle’s vet bill because it was insane and It was the highest bill we’ve seen yet. I also want to thank Mya and her family for cleaning the sanctuary and my RV this weekend because I was emotionally empty. As I sit here in the dirt with Blue Belle now back at the sanctuary, I’m trying to find the strength to dig. This is HARD! All the animals are surrounding me and showing me so much love and I would want this burial to be any other way than peaceful like when she took her last breath in my arms. 💔 She may be in heaven now but the sanctuary will always be her home. Blue Belle suffered from Anemia. She had been cured of fleas and worms while also under mange treatment but needed a blood transfusion before we knew it. Now we must save her surviving sisters while we have time. Please keep me and her remaining two sister pups in your prayers. Today, I noticed blood in one of their stools and back to the vet we go tomorrow. I’m not sure how much more I can take but if anyone in Houston can volunteer and drive them to the vet, I can get back to business because sanctuary funds are getting low after this and we still have more pups to save before it’s this critical. I definitely need to step out of being on the frontline for about a week for some self-care time. 😔 I know I need to put me first but time is critical. All encouragement, hugs, donations and volunteers are appreciated right . Link to donate are in my bio. Thank you for supporting this passion journey of growth as we experience our heartbreaking firsts that will make us stronger together! ♥️🙏🏽💫 #rescuedogs #puppies #strays #animalrescue
