Hi people in Europe who are not accustom to this heat. As someone from southern USA that has no central heating or air I have suggestions. If you can put clothes in the freezer (especially hats and socks), cover windows with thick blankets and put ice in front of fans. Try to focus cooling one room if you can. In temps that high I also freeze water bottle to put in my bed at night. Hot showers over cold when possible.

Dip the whole shirt into the water and then put it on. It’s cold to start with and will continue to cool as the water evaporates.

can you like, tell my 16yo to grow up? I made quiche before 8am so I didn't have to cook this evening. he informs me he doesn't like quiche but would like an omelette with the exact same ingredients - baring in mind he likes pies, sausage rolls, bakes, basically he likes pastry. I'm double sweaty and really pissy now 😂
