while there are some aspects of the characters’s appearances that are important for storytelling purposes (shannon’s underdevelopment, gibsie being big for his rugby position, teddy using aoife’s hair to his advantage and her cutting it, lizzie’s hair darkening to illustrate her downwards spiral, joey’s hair being a similarity to teddy), the people who are saying awful things about the actors are weird af and need to realize that they’re real people who are SEEING those comments every day.

i love when they value talent over looks. makes me even MORE excited to watch the show. i’m just gonna sit back and watch them do their thing before judging anything ❤️I’ve experienced a show where the looks were accurate and the acting was off and it genuinely sucks.

I agree. The only problem I had with it is that Lizzie's hair is light blonde. As a child to show purity and gets to dirty blonde to show that mark took that from her.And I think that's a very important part of the series though I do understand how you can change hair colors, it's just kind of disappointing.

Literally, the only characters appearance who is somewhat relevant is Shannon to show her development and growth in the books you can make brown hair look darker if that’s what everybody’s so worried about with Lizzie or hair dye

Thankyou omg. The chemistry the fact that they’re Irish, the way the embody the character. Like we can always dye the hair and change th lighting and do the makeup and outfits but you can’t force chemistry and passion…. And if what we’re focusing on is looks, then we’re missing the whole point of the books
