Some people can pick up on subtle and not so subtle hints on whether someone is approachable whether it's a facial expression or a glance of the eyes 👀 but just a suggestion when you're at a public place like a supermarket believe me George I was painfully shy or dare I say introverted now in my senior years sixty five it's just the opposite I will talk someone's head off in the darn supermarket or at Sam's Club so approach someone make eye 👁 contact and just say "Have a great day or good morning 🙏 🌄 😉 that small gesture can make both of your days wonderful 😀 😉
