what changed ⬇️ a lot of people (myself included) are searching for the magic flash or camera settings that will instantly elevate their photos and i get questions daily about my flash settings or my approach to flash photography but here’s the truth 📸 the thing that changed wasn’t my flash settings in the beginning i mostly used ttl mode and honestly at least half of my recent photos are still taken with ttl i’m used to fast-paced environments and don’t always have the time to tweak every setting manually 📸 i started using flash outside and in bright environments instead of shooting mainly in dark spaces and relying on flash as the only light, i began treating it more like a reflector something that adds extra light onto the subject and helps create depth 📸 my editing and overall approach to photography changed i used to simply document what i saw and experienced now i prepare, plan and intentionally bring my vision to life location, clothing, mood - i don’t just wing it anymore and that shift elevated my photos far more than just adding flash ever did 📸 i invested an incredible amount of time into understanding and experimenting with editing which refined the final result even further so there isn’t really one single thing that changed and i know that’s not the satisfying answer people hope for, but it’s the honest one 🤷‍♀️ hope this help 🫶 #flashphotography #photographytipsandtricks #photographytipsforbeginners #portraitphotography #photographer
