I’ll never understand how ppl can be late. I do my hair and makeup like 2 hour before any scheduled event. Sometimes I’ll even have the outfit picked out the night before. I’m always 10 minutes early

my bestie and i both struggle with time blindness so we very often end up texting eachother that we are late and the other person is like "omg same!" and its perfect lol my friends and i are all similar in that way and i would never settle for a friendship where my struggles dont get respected but this goes for both sides. if yall need people to be perfectly on time and all, dont befriend people who struggle with that and if you are someone who struggles with being late, then maybe dont be friends with people whose mood or day can get ruined by it. idk, just my 2 cents because looking at the comments i am just extra grateful for all my friends who know that me being late somewhere doesnt have anything to do with my respect towards them and i also the other way around, but people really are different ♡

Yes constantly being late to meeting with people is a form of disrespect. Especially if you’re on time to things that really matter to you (like the airport, trains, important events). It shows everyone else that they are not a priority to you. And if you are the person whose friend always does this, it’s okay to set up boundaries - speak to them, if they’re not willing to get up 30minutes earlier to make it on time they do not care

I have a friend who’s always late, so I found the perfect solution. If we’re supposed to meet at 2 p.m., I tell her 1 p.m. It works every time. 😂

i basically ended a 7 year friendship because of this. every time, 30 minutes late minimum, and one day i just got fed up. i texted him the day before when and where to meet me, day of he is too lazy to scroll up to see what we agreed on... i brought it up and explained why i was mad, he just said 'well, that's the way i am, I'm not sorry'...
