if you go off the road and hit a tree without video proof that you are run off the road, you may get the insurance money but your rates will go up and you will get points. if your vehicle is parked and it gets vandalized, then you are at no fault.

That is a straight lie. I did exactly that and I went through the windshield when my car wrapped the telephone pole at 30 mph on the front right of the car I landed in the street.
