✨Graffiti is art (art is and has always been a form of protest) even the “nice clean” art you see everywhere…instead of saying Graffiti like a negative connotation you should say you wished the Graffiti was placed more nicer in the metro…what makes the metro dirty in major cities is the city doesn’t use tax payers money to clean the ish up and put heavy emphasis on cleaning up the metros (which is such an issue that residents constantly complain about and also protest about it)…it would’ve been more appropriate for you stop the sentence at “the best metro I’ve seen so far is “name of place.” period.✨

The issue with metros in democratic places is if you splurge on making them nice it pisses off voters who see it as a waste of their tax dollars (I don’t agree but it’s one reason why some countries don’t have super nice metros).

I rode Moscow’s metro like I was visiting an art museum. I got off at every top to look and take photos and then I continued on to the next. Incredible place!
