Many London buses don't have passenger air conditioning because they were ordered without it. Cost, energy efficiency, reduced range, maintenance, and operational considerations have historically been prioritised over installing AC, even on some newer buses.

a communal company here has reduced the number of trips the busses take for tomorrow. but the ONLY cut their own tours. the subcontractors have to drive 100% of their tours ... yea only their own personnel suffer in the heat, the subcontractors are machines they don't sweat...

It's bad for the passengers in this heat but I can't even imagine how hot it is in the driver's cabs. The bus companies need to get rid of these old buses and update the fleet to the air conditioned ones so the driver's are more comfortable. It's health and safety at the end of the day and I don't blame the driver's one little bit
