If someone cuts you off in traffic, let it go. Maybe it’s a husband driving his wife, who is in active labor, to the hospital. Or they just found out their house is on fire. If a wait staff member gets your order wrong or messes it up, let it go. Maybe it’s their first day on the job. Or they just found out a family member died, but still have to work. If someone doesn’t answer your call or text right away, or even all day. Maybe they were in a work meeting, lost their phone, are dealing with a family emergency, were in a car accident, or are fighting for their life and mental health. My point is, you never know what’s going on behind closed doors, so give others the same grace you should give yourself. Learn. To. Let. Things. Go. With road rage. I just turn up my worship music and ignore it. I am trying harder and working on loving as Jesus loved more everyday. Because I catch myself being angry and bitter for no good reason at all. Tbh this only gave me more anxiety. Over analyzing and overexplaining someone’s reasoning to do certain things did not bring me peace for a second. If they do you bad, if they don’t do their job - it’s still gonna be an issue no matter how compassionate you become with the Sondering method. It may help increase empathy, but for someone already overly empathetic it’s simply more struggle
