They actually went out of business, because all the major companies didn’t want them selling electronic parts. Anyone could fix their own electrical items in a jiffy. Electric companies wanted you to buy new equipment. Not repair what you already had.

we own the building so it only costs utilities. most of our customers are 40+ they fix stuff, if we get younger gen they are doing some project or learning about tapes and DVD. we also order alot for people and fix stuff

In 1990 I broke the car key inside the ignition and it was too expensive to put a new ignition system, so I bought some switches and push buttons and created the first Honda with button ignition system from RadioShack, , unfortunately, I didn’t patent it.
