I did medical collections years ago and made great money doing it. I never pressured people. If they had a $25k bill I would still let them just pay $10/mo. I never sued anyone and always worked with folks that had problems with their insurance paying their portion of the bill. Medical bills are not something a person asks for. It’s not like a credit card that someone just maxed out and refused to pay. I had empathy and patience with people.
