I mean, if were just going by goals made in this world cup alone... Messi bests him... WHY DO THEY NEVER PLAY EACH OTHER? and even then... 1 game doesn't prove everything. one of them could be having a bad day, it would take extensive research and lots of recordings to review to decide which one of these guys is better. From what I see alone, Ronaldo is very dominant, he jumps better than anyone there and he's not even in his prime... neither of them are. yet Ronaldo stays in the air and literally pauses/glides... in terms of physical ability. it goes to Ronaldo. but Messi is like surgeon on the field, he's so precise, his footwork can get past almost everyone, he's a scoring machine, he will come out of nowhere, get past 7 dudes, still have the ball, and get passed you and then all you will hear is Argentina fans going crazy. he literally can't be stopped in most of his clips and it is insane. I honestly could not tell you which one is better and we may never know. I'm sure they hate being compared but what are fans supposed to do man? Take the questions and comments about you and Messi as a compliment. if I was ever compared to either of these men I'd be FLATTERED. They're playing for the love of the game and the fans, they don't need the money. and that's what makes it special about them 2. also love to see that younger guy who is emerging as literally an unstoppable force, Haaland I think. that dude is awesome. also love the dude from Japan that scored 2 times on accident and didn't even mean to 💀 ok talk over.
