Usually if you don’t have a job they’ll deny you🥲cause they need to be sure you’ll be able to pay it off if you show them you have a steady income (or try another place if that’s not the case!!)

highly recommend doing pre-approvals online before applying (wayyy better than having to talk to ppl irl) also if you’re traveling abroad i recommend getting a card with no foreign transaction fee. my personal fave beginner card is the capital one savor!

i know nothing but maybe you can be added onto a parents credit card as a secondary card holder to build credit and get approved for a card next time? i feel like u got denied bc u have no credit history
