36 and been single for almost 9 years now. Dated in that time frame but it has always ended the same. I’ve recently met someone, she is incredible, has a beautiful daughter from her previous marriage and I also have a son from my previous relationship. I’m absolutely terrified to completely fall in love because of my past relationships but I really feel something with this girl that I haven’t felt in previous relationships. I feel like I’m going to eventually fuck it up for myself by being so guarded.

i think it goes the way you think. if you think its hard, well its going to appear that way..you are the one who blocks it off..im 28, and still haven't found her. Nevertheless, i don't think that means im "running out of time" i think it just means its taking a little longer. Also, it truly depends on if you actually truly want a connection.

Once you understand the opportunity cost of starting something new while trying to build an empire, the selection process becomes militant. It’s a check list. One missed box, and dropped. Not by choice but just by pure psychology. At least what I’ve noticed after being with someone for 6 years and not wanting the same to happen again
