When my boy was almost ready to go home, I came for my daily visit and freaked when his incubator was empty. The nurse at the desk was like oh he is just working. He was making rounds 😂

My girl was sent home on hospice after 22 days in the hospital … long story, but her nurse❤️held her all the way to the car, looked into her eyes and took a last little snuggle and gave her to me. My daughter survived and I saw that same nurse years later, in a different town and hospital and got to tell her my girl made it🥰 nurses are angels and your babies are absolutely safe and loved 🥰🥰🥰

not even gunna lie. as a housekeeper for the hospital I was always jelous of the NICU nurses just chatting away holding or feedings the babies. sweetest department in the whole hospital!

Accurate.....also at night we like to play dress up and put them in cute outfits! Bonus points if the linens coordinate with the outfit.

I went to get my son and he wasn't there. The nurse said oh he's at the nurses station being shown off. They were snuggling him and looking at his eyelashes. Telling him they get theirs at a store or salon. So much love for nurses. You guys need your own Month!!

my one son was never in his bassinet when I would get there in the morning and I would have to walk around to find him. he was usually on rounds or at the front desk 😂

My brother sings and when his daughter was in the nicu he would sing to her and the whole nursery would go quiet. The nurses loved when he would come up. They were able to get caught up on all of their charting

I went down to see one of my twins and freak out, seing an empty incubator...he was being cuddle by three giggly nurses who were loving his full head of hair, it made me feel so relieved that he felt loved even when I was with his brother ❤️

Don’t know if the data is accurate or not, but they say a big percentage of Nicu graduates end up being in medical professions . I think it goes down to nurture energies. The experience while being there.
