well I can understand if a country comes across the sea to save you from being conquered stays back and helps you rebuild. all your infrastructure, creates an alliance so everybody you can join together to fight back if it ever happens again and then for decades basically flips the bill for your protection and your alliance spending. I can only assume it would be normal to expect a little help if asked. but I guess it's not true

Rutte doesn’t want to upset Trump so says what he wants to hear, saying that Us in Europe shouldn’t be so heavily reliant on US for defence. We should all up our GDP spending for Military & Defence. So understanding Trumps fustration sometimes is valid. He wants Europe to put on big boy pants and actually make Europe safe. Also my opinion for the War in Iran, it needed to happen regardless how Europe feels about it they should have let Trump use bases to Attack refuel from ect… You can’t let a state like Iran have those capabilities. Maybe Europe was against it because Trump kept them in the dark about the Attack with Israel.
