@moneygram211: Olusegun Obasanjo, aged 94, wrote a touching letter to Nigerians. Here is what he wrote: My fellow citizens, People say life is long. They say, “Take your time, there is plenty of it.” But I am 94 years old now, and I can tell you with certainty that this is not true. Life is not long; it passes in the blink of an eye. As I draw closer to leaving this world, my heart wants to leave you with a few lessons. I accumulated wealth, gained influence, and earned recognition, but today all of these seem like dust gathering in the corner of my room. If I stretch out my hand now, not one of them can go with me. Lesson One: Do Not Live Waiting A large part of my life was spent waiting. In school, I thought life would begin after graduation. When I joined the military, I waited for the weekends. When I got married, I waited for my children to grow up. When they grew up, I began waiting for retirement. I treated each day as just another step, thinking real life was somewhere ahead. But now I understand that there is no final destination; the journey itself is life. Lesson Two: Gold Is Not Food I spent 50 years accumulating wealth. I worked so hard that I missed precious moments with my family. I bought large houses, expensive cars, and luxurious possessions, but now that I am nearing the end of my journey, I realize that none of these things can accompany me. I still remember the day my daughter called me into the garden to see a tiny insect she had discovered. I told her, “Not now, I’m working.” To this day, I still feel the pain of that missed moment. Lesson Three: Tear Down the Wall in Your Heart When I was younger, I believed that showing compassion or apologizing was a sign of weakness. I had a brother I grew up with. One day we disagreed over something small. I cannot even remember what caused the disagreement now. I waited for him to make the first move toward reconciliation. Years passed. Then one day I received a call informing me that he had died. That was when I realized that I had been right, but I had lost my brother. If you love someone, tell them today. If you have made a mistake, apologize today. Tomorrow is never guaranteed. Lesson Four: Fear Is Only a Shadow I was 22 years old when I dreamed of becoming a writer. I had notebooks filled with dreams and stories. But I never wrote that book because I was afraid of being mocked or failing. Now my hands tremble and my eyesight has weakened. That book is still inside me. The greatest tragedy in life is not death; it is the dreams we bury while we are still alive. Do not keep postponing what your heart longs to do. Start today. Even if you fail, at least you will be able to say, “I tried.” Conclusion The ticking of my clock grows louder in my ears now. I have let go of worry, pride, and fear. You are still alive. You still have another day. Do not waste it. Look at your hands. Move your fingers. Feel your breath. All of this is a blessing. Do not wait until you are 94 years old to realize how beautiful life is. Live now. Until we meet again. Summary Life is short. Live fully, cherish your loved ones, forgive quickly, pursue your dreams

I feel this quote it's so emotional, for my career being abandoned because I am a mother of three kids and my husband facing only his work instead of affection for me and my kids, you can imagine the pain of being legally married and still be like a single mother in your husband roof , everything is not about money, I am drained internally, I feel worthless, cuz I stopped my career because of this same man and everything turned out good only in his own favor and I was like a lamp 🪔 in his life🥹

This message is a powerful reminder that life is not measured by how much money we make or the positions we hold, but by the lives we touch, the love we share, and the memories we create. Many people spend their entire lives chasing wealth, forgetting that time is the one thing no one can buy back. Forgive while you still can, appreciate your family while they are alive, pursue your dreams before fear steals them, and never postpone happiness waiting for the, right time. At the end of life, our possessions will remain behind, but our character, kindness, and the impact we made on others will be our true legacy. May we all learn to live each day with purpose, gratitude, and love, because tomorrow is a promise made to no one.🫶 ❤️

Hello to the next generation 🤍
If you ever come across this comment, I just want you to no that we tried… we really did
Life wasn’t easy for us Things were expensive, opportunities were limited, and sometimes it felt like we were just trying to survive each day no help from anybody🥹no mum no dad no brothers no sisters just us😓But even in all that we still have dreams we still smile and we kept going
If things are better for you, I hope things get better for you guys and if they’re not, please don’t give up. You are stronger than you think just like us🥹
Take care of yourself, be kind to people don't look down on yourself don't spend money where you are supposed to say okay🥹don't stay where u are not valued choose yourself over and over again🖤🖤This is from a generation that refused to give up🥹❤️27/06/2026 8:20am

The older you get, the more you realize that many of the things people fight over today won't matter tomorrow.
Money is useful, but it cannot buy back time. Fame is attractive, but it cannot guarantee peace. Beauty fades. Power changes hands. Status comes and goes. Possessions are left behind.
Many people spend their entire lives trying to impress strangers while neglecting the people who truly matter. They sacrifice their peace, integrity, and relationships for temporary applause.
Life is short. The houses we build, the cars we drive, the titles we carry, and the wealth we accumulate will all remain here when we're gone. What endures is the impact we made, the character we displayed, and the lives we touched.
So work hard, pursue success, and build wealth—but never forget that these are tools, not the ultimate purpose of life. Value your time, cherish your loved ones, and live with wisdom because one day, everything this world offers will pass away.

This’s not just a reading note to read but every ditch of words means something heavy the truth of it is that we were born just like every child with nothing very empty still going back home empty without leaving all we build behind, life is just like agriculture every living things has end so stop every minute a worship the creator of heaven and earth for he already knows the end of it all. God is good all time.

That’s why it’s hurts me to see that after all Nigerians have been through but home and abroad we not been able to have UNITY. Our leaders have prioritise their pockets over the love for the people of the land it’s has been going on from generations to generations that alone is heartbreakin but we are GRATEFUL FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE DESPITE EVERYTHING WE ARE STILL HERE

God bless the soul who brought out this remembrance of our past when we are still at the present I'm short of words but I'm so lucky to have and opportunity to read this wonderful message, this life is nothing has no meaning, make of your own story, shapes your perspective, and your own meaning in this life.
