I believe if more people would sleep on the floor and eat on the floor, there would be way less back problems and people would be more nimble. I still have my bed but I sleep on the floor and use the bed as a couch.

Fantastic! I love our floor bed, 14 years me and my husband have slept on the floor, wouldn't have a normal bed again. my house is not very minimalist looking these days, but I still use minimalism to make choices.

I am a minimalist, but my pets have bedding and comforts. I would never keep my pet in a crate with no bedding.

I think this is great. Sleeping on the floor is best for your back, the Japanese make rollable thick mattresses for this reason exactly. You roll them out for bedtime, roll them back up during the day.
