I've been cutting professionally for 26 years, I own a curve shaft and straight shaft edgers, several weedeaters, backpack blowers, mowers, trailers etc... I edged with a weedeater for years and still do if I'm weedeating a yard and there is very little to edge but using a stick edger is faster and always leaves a straight perfect edge
