I don’t think people realize the comfort that comes with the straps coming from outside the sandal. When the straps from through the sandal, you feel them and then rub the sides of your foot bed. Also, don’t stretch the straps, they will loosen to your foot shape after a couple days. I’ve had mine for a year and they’re perfect.
