Went to see it yesterday, we didn’t love the movie itself but we LOVED supergirl, milly portrayed her so good, and she carried that movie. We were still happy cause even if the movie itself was alright there will be more movies and all that matter is we have a good supergirl. Also in my opinion lobo was the worst part of the movie he looked so bad😭

thats honestly glaze on another Level. i really loved superman and i watched it 3 Times in cinemas (even though in hindsight there are alot of things i didnt like) but supergirls 2nd half just ruined it for me. Especially the final fight felt like a fever dream, looked exactly the same as the Flash movie. I wish i liked it but man i'm sadly really dissapointed

kara is different from clark in some major ways. where superman makes you feel hope for the person you can one day be, supergirl lets you sit with and honour the hurt that led you to where you are. where superman shows how saving people from other's mistakes is a noble task, supergirl shows that sometimes saving one person from their own pain and putting them on a path you wish you could've taken is enough. where superman says "be kind and be good" supergirl says "the world hasn't been kind to you, so you don't always have to be kind back. but you still have to try and be good."

It felt so raw and real. It showed how even though she didnt live on earth she dealt with such real issues, and some issues Clark just wouldnt get. Dare I say it was better than Superman too..
