British army were brought in by the behest of the prodestant people, they then tried to say the Catholics did, now any idiot would know why would you want your enemy to come and help their own kind, the army was sent to eliminate the Catholics of the north, just like isrealis did with Palestine, it backfired on them, when the IRA brought the campaign to the UK, the brits had no answer for it, and sued for peace, of course loyalists will say different,but Britain sold them out and we're talking to the IRA for a long time behind their backs , now they are out bred , and Catholics are the dominant side , not that they want to do what the old enemy did and done , they just want to live in peace, this generation could not care less for marches and flegs
