Exactly. I’ve found it really interesting and pretty weird that people are so upset by her decision. I think it’s awesome that she’s following her inner call and she explained everything so eloquently, I wish people were more open to this perspective.

I personally believe you can believe in God and have a full relationship with Jesus and be spiritual and use tools such as tarot. I respect Alex’s decision and only she knows what is right for her. I just have seen other tarot readers switching to Christianity and entering into full religious psychosis where everything is the devil and I don’t think that’s healthy either.

as a reader who also decided to stop reading collectives 2 weeks ago hearing all the harsh judgements both directions is pretty eye opening. everyone has their own discernment and inner sovereignty to use however they choose. its nice to see someone have an understanding perspective in all of this!

I love your perspective and it closely aligns with my own. As someone who discovered tarot early in my spiritual journey, my unhealed ego and lack of discernment did open some doors to some energies that were not operating in love, and I stepped away for a while, worked on my own healing and discernment, and now it’s a beautiful tool of reflection and personal growth. I think people often miss the piece about discernment and ego - which can profoundly impact a person’s experience regardless of whether they participate in new age spirituality, traditional religions, or no spiritual practice at all. Thanks for sharing this!

I've been a practitioner of the craft for a very long time I was raised by a mother who taught me to research all religions all philosophies all constructs and come to my own opinion but I went to Catholic school because it was a good education and I've gone back and forth throughout my 30 years of practice. at 46 years old I now am in the mindset that we are all our own creator and our own God because we create our own world in reality and in the same way nothing has a negative or positive incantation unless we give it that meaning we have to assign these feelings and meanings to things. tarot is such a beautiful divination tool to make people feel a little more connected to their own intuition. I often find that my clients already knew exactly what needed to be done or knew the situation they just wanted me to confirm it for them.
