One of my best friends got w my ex of over 7 years after we broke up. I had also stopped talking to her after she started hanging out w my ex best friend also, so the signs were there lol. But it doesn’t make it any easier. Idgaffff about my ex but loosing someone who was such a big part of my life for way longer than he was, TO HIM, after all the fucked up shit he did to me, that she KNEW about in great detail, is unlike any other betrayal or hurt I’ve ever experienced. Like she LIVED w us and knew how toxic he was she would legit BEG me to leave him. Fast forward to when we officially broke up…like a handful of months later..They got married and had kids (according to other people we grew up w I have no way to verify), but are now not even together. Like ok. Was it worth it in the end? To permanently discard our over 12 year friendship on and off or not? To have kids with someone who didn’t even deserve either of us? Weird behavior but also it’s just super sad.
