I used to shave my head every two years to donate my hair. Did it for over a decade. The weird bugs feeling goes away in a few days to a week. Try beanie caps instead, they don’t feel as weird once they’re on. You will feel colder, but not cold all the time. The moment you get, like, a quarter inch of hair, you’ll be used to everything. But watch out for your neck. Long hair to shaved head, especially in the summer, you’ll forget how exposed the back of your neck is to sunburns.

I shaved my head in October and I was so cold for months I wore beanies every day even to sleep 😭 but hopefully it’s not as bad for you as it’s summertime but bandanas/scarfs are a go to for me in the summer with the bald head!

girl i understand i shaved my head in november and i like couldn’t stand the feeling of ANYTHING touching my scalp. it becomes less sensitive tho

And your stubble will grab your T-shirt when you put a new one on. The hair will grow. It will soften the longer it gets. In the meantime, sunscreen is your friend and now you can rock sun hats. You got this. 😁👍👍
