I remember when I found God in 2018. Before that, I had been into tarot and other New Age practices since middle school in the early ‘90s. Back then, I really believed I had found the truth. I wasn’t pretending. I had faith in what I believed. But after I encountered Jesus, I knew immediately there was a difference. It’s hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it yourself. It made me think of when Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice.” I finally understood what He meant. If you had told me before that I’d become a Christian, I would’ve laughed at you. I probably would’ve cussed you out too. That’s how convinced I was that Christianity wasn’t for me. What’s crazy is that the Bible has been describing this for thousands of years. The way people encounter God has always been the same. Her story, my story, and the stories of billions of other Christians all fit that pattern. It usually doesn’t make sense from the outside. It’s radical. It changes everything. God puts an end to who you were, but at the same time He renews you into who you were created to be. You see that all throughout the Old and New Testaments. This is just how God works. If you’ve never experienced it, it probably won’t make much sense. But if you stay open to the possibility that He really is who He says He is, one day it might.

I followed her and like many people,had been skipping her videos for most of this year. She said in her video she had been in conflict with this decision for over a year. My issue is this: She was taking money from people and doing readings while not believing in tarot. That's fraudulent af. She is allowed to take whatever journey she wants, but a white woman choosing the Christian Mythology cult after having her Divine Feminine power and believing in an oppressive religion that is patriarchal and racist, makes me think twice about her whole persona. I'm not surprised because white women are gonna white women. I unfollowed all but 1 white tarot reader after that. Lesson learned. When Alex comes back for her apology tour, she will remain blocked.

She didn’t stop for organized religion she walked away from tarot because she discovered personal relationship with Jesus. When you have relationship with Jesus it hits different than with cards and no relationship. As for it happening all of a sudden…. That’s the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit moves like a rushing mighty wind, you are made different instantly, consciousness is opened. The only way you understand it is to try it. Maybe you should!!

For many people, God and tarot beautifully coexist as a mirror for the soul, so it's understandable why this change is confusing. However, 'finding God' for her meant entering a new chapter with different spiritual boundaries that she feels called to respect. We can still cherish the connection we built with her and be grateful for what she taught us through tarot, while gently allowing her the space to follow her heart. ❤️
