I was just discussing this, I also wonder if the fact that The Dendro and Electro gnosis are still standing whereas the Anemo and Hydro gnosis are knocked over symbolise anything. It also makes me curious as to whether or not Zhongli and the Tsaritsa will go head to head. Do the separation of the four gnosis that have been defeated signify a side they chose to fight alongside? I have so many questions and I feel like this chess scene is very important

Why do I have a feeling that he’s the father? Okay, this is probably just me being delulu, but hear me out. As we remember, the Tsaritsa has been collecting all the Gnosis from the other Archons. Most of the gods either fought for them or had them taken, but Zhongli gave his away surprisingly easily. But what if we never stopped to ask why the Tsaritsa needed all those Gnoses in the first place? So here’s my theory: in the trailer, it shows that she has a son who is sick, and maybe she needs the “eyes of the gods” to heal him from his illness. And what if Zhongli gave up his Gnosis so easily because he and the Tsaritsa share a secret… Their son. Of course Zhongli would want to heal his son too, so he willingly gave up his Gnosis to help save him. And during the Liyue quest, Zhongli acted really suspicious at times, which only fuels my theory even more. Am I delulu? Absolutely. Am I going to keep believing this theory until proven otherwise? Also yes.

one of the white pawns is at the end of the board and when a pawn reaches the end of the board it can turn into any piece which could mean that it represents the pyro gnosis being found and since cryo and geo gnoses are only ones still there this could mean one of them is the king piece (possibly cryo) because the game doesn't end until the king is down
