My group just plays without whoever cancels so it doesn't rly matter. I'm surprised its so common to just cancel the whole session because of it.

I hated when I felt that way. I had to hold myself back from feeling that way too much because it wasn't personal. Unfortunately sometimes it does feel personal, but if they are your friends you'd spend time with I think some exceptions can be made

On the 1 hand I was kind of crappy to the 1st dnd group I was in, cause I was new and easily confused. But on the other hand, I had a job when no one else in the group did and they needed to chill tf out. Dnd is not as important as making a living.
