Technically you said “after his turn, the tables spins” there for there is no rule that rejects feeling the glasses shape and direction.so he win after the first turn.

This was so poorly framed as a problem I just had to skip to the answer to even understand what was being asked. The birthday question made sense- this would’ve been cool if the parameters were more clearly defined.

You can feel the glass so you know if it’s right up or upside down

I don’t understand why he couldn’t feel the glasses and flip the upside down ines over? Nowhere does it say he cannot do that

you said random, there's a distinct possibility he will always miss one corner due to reorientation in which case there is no true solution

The breaking random with symmetry makes sense but I don’t get the switch in which you flip. It’s not exactly like the glasses get shell gamed but because the table spins, to the glasses diagonal or same side, what’s the difference?. Sounds like you just flip two in whatever position consistently until the two you flip are opposite side up from the two you didn’t. And maybe there’s deep odds math involved, but that single flip in the end makes no sense. Seems like that one’s dependent on the previous two flips guaranteed all the rest end up opposite. Maybe it’s like the solution to rubiks cube involved, but needs that bit explained.

are we assuming that this guy has his hands since he can flip the glasses however he likes because if so he can just feel around

he can just feel them, and at most it will take 2 turns for them to all be up/down. the table rotating is irrelevant

The problem with that one is that I went to the answer thinking it was a trick question: blind men can still tell if a glass is the right way round or not, by just feeling which side has the opening. Maybe change the question to something like a box, which had a red dot on one side and a blue dot on the other side
