And today is all about exterior body panels and a feature I haven't seen in a brick-built model before. Starting with the hood, making use of unusual techniques to close gaps, and the usage of special wedge tiles - which LEGO has just started using in 2x2 format this year! Next up we build the doors, taking care of the vehicle sides, and funky door handles, before moving onto the final segment: The Roof - probably the most absurd bit of this model, as while it does look likely a completely normal and solid roof at first glace, hides a seamless sliding sunroof mechanism in just 3 plates height - it's all you need for a warm summer's day, right? I'm very proud of how this little gimmick came out, and how well it functions!
