will never understand kotone haters, makoto is my favorite character so i like him a bit better personally but she’s still great. if anything the kotone haters are larping, if they played portable they would know she just has pretty much objectively better social links, and she was amazing in Q2 as well

I think it is genuinely impossible to like Kotone and be a larper. Like if you even know she exist then that means you either played 1 of the like two (One: a spin off. The other: Not as accessible as it two other versions.) Persona games that she's in, or did research. Like people who don't know this series don't know she exist! Liking Kotone is a literal badge of authenticity.

cause she stopped being relevant after Q2 and every other main character in the modernsona trilogy has had a title release/re-release, which means Kotone would only be relevant to the franchise again after Portable's re-release. Most modern fans don't want Kotone because she's not a well known/memorable character, something even Makoto BARELY passes
