@fit.mom.carlyn: What careers are better for motherhood. If you are a full time working mom, some careers lend themselves to being easier while also child raising. Let’s make a list of some of those. #christiantiktok #mom #women #kids #life
Accounting. I work 3x a week from home. Make 200 + bonus and unlimited PTO. Only need after school childcare 2x a week.

nursing! with the caveat that you do sacrifice certain things such as weekends and holidays, i do feel like i spend more quickly time with my baby than i would otherwise if i worked a 9-5

I left teaching when I got pregnant but am totally considering going back once I am done having kids because of the schedules! It sounds dreamy but also teaching in 2026 is just sooo different and stressful :(.

I’m a middle school secretary. I have two teens at my campus. My 3rd child is at a different campus and he busses over to mine. I have a toddler in daycare and I can still pay for that and cover my bills.I’m off all holidays, weekends, and 7 weeks in the summer. Work days I bring them with me or I take the day off in personal time. Most secretarial jobs are 8-5 M-F I don’t have a college degree and I am an excellent secretary.

I’m an OBGYN, my hours are similar to my kids school schedule and I’m on call every other weekend so it’s not terrible. I think pediatrics ( office hours) 9-5 would be doable aa well.

I’m a home builder and while I can’t make my own schedule, I can manipulate it to be able to be there for all things for my kids. I think finding a company that cares about family is important because I extend the same freedoms to other employees. I never want a kid to say “ my mom/dad had to work so she couldn’t make it “ As long as the job is done, go be where you need to be.

This is why I’m finishing my degree! I completed 2 years and decided I didn’t want to teach anymore but then had my daughter and realized I can’t miss her life. So teaching it is!

I’m a state government attorney and I WFH full time… I make much less money than I could working for the government but I do all the bus drop offs, pick ups and am always here. My kids are in elementary school now but I did put them in daycare part time while they were little but I was still always able to be around

I decided to go back to be an SLP, it pays more than teaching & is more my interest compared to teaching! And usually goes on the school schedule as well! At least for school SLPs! My mom being a teacher was so great spending summer and breaks with her is one of the most memorable moments of my childhood!

Nurse care manager, I work from home, 8-4. I’m part time now but this was way better than working as a nurse in the hospital full time. Work/life balance there was not doable

A salaried position in healthcare administration. The job can be demanding, but it pays very well and the hours are flexible. Work from home when needed, and can leave as needed for activities.
