@saysdotcom: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has ordered six eateries along Jalan Alor in Bukit Bintang to close following a special late-night enforcement operation yesterday, 25 June. The operation, carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, saw inspectors checking 45 food premises at the popular tourist hotspot to ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and licensing requirements. Among the violations uncovered were poor hygiene standards, failure to install or properly maintain grease traps, and the presence of cockroaches and rats in kitchen areas. Six of the inspected premises were ordered to close under By-Law 28(1) of the Federal Territories Food Establishment Licensing By-Laws 2016 for failing to meet the required hygiene standards.
