I could only comment regarding visiting the Great Wall. Number one you must bring water with you. The Chinese people are not American meaning there are no vendors on the Great Wall. Secondly when you arrive, we had two choices to go on the part where it’s level and the part where it goes up a little bit. Choose level! It can get pretty steep and stay that way for a long time. But either way, make sure you go and it is exhausting. I said several times while climbing the Great Wall, that I would’ve let the Mongolians in.
