You just argued that introducing state police would make governors become tyrants. But in the same breath, you acknowledged that some governors are already using people who aren't even police to intimidate, harass, and oppress others. So what's the point you're trying to make? If governors can already abuse power without state police, then what exactly changes with the introduction of state police? Are you saying it would increase their ability to abuse power, or are you saying it would create tyranny where none exists? That's why I said you're contradicting yourself. You're claiming state police would make governors tyrants, while also admitting that some governors are already acting tyrannically without state police. If that's your concern, then explain what new danger state police introduces instead of simply saying it will make governors tyrants. Otherwise, your argument doesn't really follow.
