While the fatui was done horrendous, I would say, the tsaritsa was more supposed to be intimidating in how she acts, as she looks like a gentle god, I do believe that’s the point. Tartaglia did say she encased her heart in ice back in like, 1.2? In the teyvat teaser, she was described as a god with no love left for her people, while I hope that stays, I doubt it will. If I remember well, columbina said the fatui used her, therefore the tsaritsa. In my opinion, everyone knows her goals, ambitions and is forced to be on her side. With how she talks in the trailer, it fits. “Death is not the enemy of love. But the blessings of Deluded gods”. I do think the design looks better when in the context of a loving god who froze her heart, but, your opinions are well said! :D

When it comes to rulers in media that are evil people they don’t ever look scary physically. They look professional and commanding. Kinda like they have a presence. Her long flowy capes and her dull facial expression and jewelry give her that image. Idk I personally think it works whatever you think is what u think tho. People are entitled to their opinion 😁
