AI will never replace real art, because it has no soul (or so I keep telling myself😁).

I’m an Audio Describer and in constant fear of losing my job to AI. Thankfully AD relies heavily on emotion and human interpretation, but unfortunately accessibility is always the least prioritised and organisations are trying to cut costs by using AI. ☹️

Nothing can replace the raw human emotion than goes into art. It’s the little things, the details and the imperfections that makes the art perfect in its own way. That’s what makes so special and connects us humans from all over the world, no matter what.

I work in Marketing/Advertising and the push to use AI and the number of smart, talented creatives that have been let go is truly disheartening.

Art created by real humans is beautiful, AI could never come close to that. Thank you for the work you do and putting your art out there for us to enjoy. It really is the human behind the voice that makes it so special.

Considering one of the reasons I listen to human voices, the prospect of a computer being on the other end is actually creepy.

AI could never replace the nuance, the breadth, or the emotion that is connected through actual humans.

I heard, I think it was grimes that said ai would aggressively take over the arts 😭 I think ai will be the cheap option and quality production will pay so much more for individuality and human touch. So while ai will be cheap and mass produce for the masses and for a short time ultimately human products will become the real and rare quality art that people will WANT TO BUY also the money shot….. excuse the pun

One of the biggest reasons we, as a culture, love art the way that we do is because art connects humans in a way little else can. Artificial intelligence is just that: slop posing as intelligence

It’s not so much that ai (uncapitalised, derogatory) produces perfect. It’s more that it aims for average or statistically most probable that leaves you feeling like it’s utterly boring in its capabilities. I love how weird and out of pocket human brains and patterns of thought can be and ai removes all that fun

Definitely prefer real voices, real people. The elements of connection, comfort, soul, attraction, humour and emotion would win every time!

It really is crazy that we have to champion “human voices only”. How could anyone prefer AI for any reason but financials? And if you care more about money than the actual quality of the work (in whichever field) should you be allowed to make creative decisions at all? Clear and resounding no. You’re absolutely right: the humanity is the most beautiful quality ever.

Don't shoot me but;
Wouldn't AI cancel itself out because it can NEVER be as heartfelt as a hunan voice?! So people will always choose a real voice to listen to in the end?
What is Audible's point of view?
