Actually Barclays customer service are so lovely. I agree with the savings, but a normal bank account, Barclays are good - I like the blue rewards 🎀

nationwide best bank...give you money every year (you do need to meet a certain criteria but if its your main bank shoukd be easy enough) and have branches you can go in and speak to a human being
