Everyone believes in fascism, they just dont like the word fascist. fascism is the purest form of socialism, i.e national socialism, legionarism , falangism, syndicalism etc

I’m not a fascist, and I don’t subscribe to Gentile’s ideas. But when I tried the exact same thought experiment with some leftists, I arrived at the same conclusion you mentioned. I never brought up actual idealism, Gentile or any related thinker. They agreed with most of my reasoning, apart from a few specific positions.
