I stay in my peace now. I’ve let so many people that call themselves my family go because time again and again family has betrayed me and turned their backs time after time when I needed them the most. I have 2 best friends that have always been there for me and never treated me the way my family have… I can count now on one hand who I can count on. That’s my son, my grandkids, my 2 best friends and my Godson and his family which just added another little baby boy that makes 4 God Grandsons…

I think this is wildly true a majority of the time. As someone who isolates to regain my peace. Solitude is never "lonely" for me. I think there are rare occasions where we need to offer more Grace to the ones who just can't help anyone because they need to recharge and heal themselves.
