Song: Automotivo dos Menor Mìdia (Slowed HardStyle Remix) | Anime/Char: Jormungand - Chequita | Another, Chequita edit, this time using panels on certain shots as emphasis. It's interesting how different yet the same she looks in comparison. I'd say they translated the designs fairly well, however, there's a certain style to the manga that isn't really there. I can't quite put as to why, perhaps the anime simply focused a bit more upon realism? One thing of note I can say from these panels, is there's a certain creepy uncanny quality to Chequita that I felt wasn't quite preserved. Just something about the vacancy in her eyes as well as her mouth being just a tad bit too big and wide create an unnerving quality that I never really got from the anime. Sure she's a bit offputting but I'd say her manga counterpart is much more; especially in the panel after she kicks the assassin. The mouth just opens too big, but I kinda like it. I like Chequita both on page and screen. I just needa fully read the manga now, I'm such a larper (not). This was also more practice on shakes but I didn't like it as much/a bit rushed.
